A farewell ride

I love going for a drive in the country..... it soothes my soul and takes away the stress of everyday living.
However, all country rides are not created equal.
A few weeks ago, I traveled to a country church in the north of the island to bade a tearful goodbye to a dear lady who was a gem to all who knew her.
"Mum" as she was affectionately called has gone on to higher heights.  I am going to miss her, and her wit and words of wisdom.
May her soul rest in eternal peace.
